Debate tournament on "Religious Diversity in Kyrgyzstan" in Naryn


Today in Naryn, the initiative team Jash Time is holding a debate tournament on "Religious Diversity in Kyrgyzstan" at the secondary school №8.


The participants are 16 teams of 2 people each.

The age of participants is from 14 to 17 years old.


The debates will be held in the British format. Four resolutions are announced in stages, and then the debaters compete in the ability to argue their point of view, listen to their opponent and thoroughly consider the issue under discussion.


Debates will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 6 p.m. In parallel, there are 4 rounds, each with a judge and an analyst


The event addresses religion and politics, religious education, principles of religion-related litigation, and the wearing of religious paraphernalia in schools

At the end of the debate, the judges chose 3 winning teams:

1st place - Team JoBro

2nd place - Team Jesters.

3rd place - Team Biba and Bob


In the category "The most active team" - team Alpha

The best speaker was Baimatova Nigora

Tomorrow @jash_time team will hold a movie screening, a quiz game, and an exhibition of paintings
